Background
One of the key components of 5th Industrial Transformation is automation and workforce way of working upgrade. We supported client’s operation team to automate and transform almost 20 years old legacy workflow and process automation with human capital ways of working upgrade.
Key Issue
The service sales compensation team for customer was using legacy processes and very complex workflow to process compensation and incentives for service sales team. We not only discovered the existing complex process that was very much dependent on human capital to process it but also optimized the process to help prevent accidental compensation loss and discrepancies to help save huge dollar losses.
Solution
We helped redefine and achieve business and technology process automation including human capital upgrades to be able to work with
new norms of digital business transformation and automation
• Setting up standardized documentation and agile process for automation
• Extensively used RPA tools such as power automate, Data Factory, SSIS workflow and custom tools to automate the existing manual
process.
• Proposed and planned for bot based file processing and exception and reporting workflow that involve multiple teams includingvcorrecting data to SAP and Salesforce to highly auditable historical transactional and master data maintenance.
